so, last summer an MLB player from the Tampa Bay Rays was playing the Tigers and decided to dm me to ‘hang’. i was kinda shook tbh, but i wasnt naive to think i was the only one he dm’d, & i was pretty sure he just wanted to hit a home run. but, i thought, why not play along, even though i had no intention of letting him get to even first base. instead of throwing him a curve ball, though, i made it clear to him that he wouldn’t be batting a thousand, that i was only in the game for a cool experience, and that i wouldn’t be mad if he decided to take a rain check. he said he was fine with it. but, to cover all of my bases, i told him that i would only meet him in a public place and i was coming with my friends (my best friend and two relatively large guys). it turned out to be a ball. he was a good sport and even gave me tickets to his game the following day. anyway, what i’m saying is that life is an adventure. take some risks. but NEVER, EVER put yourself in a compromising position. as i am a mom at heart, i don’t want any of you to be struck by a foul ball.
swing at the risky opportunities, just make sure your head is ALWAYS in the game.
