when we tell our kids the touching story of how we met, there’s a good chance that it will start with ‘well, he slid into my dms.’ our generation’s reliance on social media explains why this is where most of the flirting begins. the main problem, though? it’s hard to tell if he’s just a flirt or really into you. i mean, in person you can only really flirt with one person at a time. on social media, you can send a snap saying “hey babe, i think you’re cute” to every girl or guy on your snapchat list. so, how can you tell if you are the only one that your crush is talking to? here are some social media clues to find out if the one your talking to is all about you or is all about flirting:
- if he texts back pretty frequently, he’s likely into you. but, dont freak if he doesn’t respond immediately. he may just be busy. all im saying, is that if he wants to talk to you, he’ll show it.
- she probably isnt into you if her snapchat score goes up, & you havent gotten a response. if she’s interested, she’ll snap you back before anyone else.
- if he likes all of your posts, he may be interested but,
- if he also likes/favs/retweets a bunch of other girls posts, you might be out of luck.
- if she accidentally likes a photo from months ago, she’s probably stalking your instagram (& the odds that she’s into you are in your favor).
- if he sends you your insta story with a comment, you’re in.
- if she follows all of your social media accounts (a very good sign), she probably wants to know more about you
- she’s likely crushing, if she follows your friends as well
- if she posts a song you suggested to her on her story, she is probably thinking of you (& wants you to know)
- if he snaps you pictures of what he’s doing throughout the day, good sign. if it’s pics of the ceiling or floor, bad sign.
- if she shares something she finds interesting with you, she was thinking of you.
- if he texts ‘good morning,’ you were on his mind when he woke up.
one sign may mean absolutely nothing. but all together, these clues should give you the confidence you need to make the next move.
