to my surprise, i’ve read quite a bit this summer! because these books are actual fire, i thought i’d share them with you.
fav books this summer are…
1.the great alone: girl, coming of age. dad, vietnam vet. mom, hot instigator. all move to remote alaska. quite the page turner.
2.the last mrs. parrish: i’m not giving anything away here. just know that the twist, halfway through, makes this a must read.
3.the proposal: a solid, clichéd beach read about a girl in california who (wait for it…….) receives a marriage proposal. *reese witherspoon approved, though*
4.this is how it always was: a story about a family of four boys with one who wishes he was a girl. (love it so far. but, because i’m only partially through, the jury is still out)
what books are on your summer reading list? while the books on my list tend to look at the complexity of relationships, i’m pretty much open to any and all suggestions/genres.
