two guys stand across an open soccer field. same height, weight and roughly the same age, wearing their team gear. i’m relaying a story about one of them to someone i’m sitting near. to point him out, i could easily use the only distinguishing characteristic they have. skin color. but i hesitate. is it offensive? if so, why? i would have no trouble pointing out the blonde or the female.
i try to be as sensitive to differences as i can and not offend anyone, but in this case it’s a little tricky (and i’m not sure if i’m being paranoid). in an effort to save me from myself (and maybe help out others who have the same concern), be a homie and leave your thoughts in the comments.
